I know this isn’t the usual weekly edit you were expecting but wow, its been a week (anyone else feeling all the emotions lately?) Before we get into this week’s outfit inspo guide from my Ask Alexa question box - I wanted to write a quick note on updates to my posting and content schedule.
I originally planned to post 3 times a week on here but thanks to my perfectionism - researching, curating and posting 3 in depth shopping guides a week was highly ambitious of me. And being a one woman show with other work responsibilities - completely unrealistic (after only after a few short weeks.. it burnt me out - ha!)
I made the switch to Substack because I was craving a slower format where I could talk about styling and fashion but also write about other things in my life. I think when I planned this out, I was still caught up in the fast-paced, consistency-over-quality, more-is-more hamster wheel of social media. When in actuality, this kind of format doesn’t work for me and is why I moved in the first place (this was a great recent read from
that helped validate how I’ve been feeling lately about operating in this way!)I do my best work when I have a creative ping or spark of insight. It flows, and it’s so enjoyable to do. But when it’s forced, no matter what I try I just can’t seem to get it out. I used to think that something was wrong with me - how can other people be posting so much but I struggle to? - but now I’ve come to make peace with the fact that this is just the ebb and flow of how I work.
This is a creative and cathartic outlet for me, and I don’t want to end up resenting it. So! For my own sanity, I will still be posting every week, but the number of posts will vary and will include fashion as well as other topics :) I have so many other stories and learnings that I want to share with you (like my gut health journey and career changes, for example). This page started out as a place for me to get back into fashion and styling, but I’m ready to break free of the imaginary boundaries I’ve placed on myself and evolve it into a space where I share my insights on fashion, lifestyle, career and wellness/beauty too (I’m also sharing this with you as a heads up in case this isn’t something you want to subscribe to).
In my true ebb-and-flow nature, it has taken me forever to put this post together! Sometimes, I can get it done in a day, and other times it takes me weeks. This is one of those times haha. I have been asked for Euro summer outfit inspo for weeks now and have been ruminating on it, creating outfits here and there but this week I finally got around to finishing it.

A tip for organising outfits
When curating my wishlists or shopping carts for something like a big trip away, I like to create a spreadsheet outlining what I have, what I need and then add in the links of things I come across and want to buy to fill in the gaps.
I also like to physically plan outfits to refer back to while I’m away, and will list them in my phone in the notes app. I list each item in the outfit, and then categorise them into sections like casual outfits, dinner outfits etc. or even plan it down to the day based on the itinerary. Some people also like to take photos of their outfits beforehand and keep them in a camera roll folder. This is a bit too much for me because I can see the outfit in my head even if it’s written, but if you’re not a visual person and think this would be helpful, I’d recommend giving this a go as well!
After using an app like ShopMy for this page, I find it soo much easier for me to put together wishlists and shopping lists thanks to their browser extension that allows you to quickly add any link into a custom folder. Unfortunately you can only be a content creator to get access to their app, but I have been on the hunt for similar software that allows you to do the same thing, minus the affiliate link generator. There are apps like Sortd that allow you to do this on your phone, but I unfortunately haven’t come across anything for desktop yet. If you know of any, please let me know in the comments!

*PS - I use ShopMy to create all links used in these post. Just so you know, I mainly use these links for data purposes (I love knowing what you are into and it helps me to bring you more of that!) - but some of them may also qualify for an affiliate commission if you choose to make a purchase (at no extra cost to you). I only ever share things I own or would genuinely buy/wear myself.
these are all SO good. I sadly don't have a euro trip booked this summer but keeping this inspo for new york!
